Our journey continues to Mazara del Vallo, located in the southwestern corner of Sicily and one of the island’s closest points to Africa. This proximity has deeply influenced the town’s history and culture, particularly its fascinating Arab neighbourhood known as the “Casbah.” We’ll wander through its intriguing narrow streets and visit the Satiro Museum, home to one of the Mediterranean’s most exquisite Hellenistic bronze statues: the Dancing Satyr.
